Playoff 12s were released on February 14, 2004,and recently Jordan 12 Playoffs made a comeback in 2012. The retro Playoff 12s feature a black leather upper with lizard skin print on the white portion of the upper. The red in the official colorway refers to the accents, including the Jumpman logo on the tongue. The design of theretro 12 playoffs is based on the Nisshoki, which is the Japanese rising sun flag, as well as a 19th century womens dress boot. It features stitched leather portions which radiate outward like the sun’s rays. The bottom features a white colorway, with black inserts which feature a modified herringbone pattern, which is great for grip and traction.
