Introduction

The first colorway of Kobe Bryant's 10th signature shoe, the Kobe 10 "5AM Flight," was inspired by Bryant's early-morning leap off a 40-foot diving board after recovering from Achilles tendon surgery in 2013. The shoe's Vapor Green and Blue Lagoon Engineered Mesh upper is reminiscent of pool water, while the nubuck tongue is scaled. Four lines on the left heel represent the four feet of stitches needed to repair the tendon, while the ice blue sole unit includes visible Zoom Air on the heel and a gold "X" underfoot.
