Introduction

Nike unveils the Kobe 6 Protro 'Mambacita Sweet Sixteen' to honor the legacy of Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gigi. The black snake scales on the upper reference the Lakers' legendary Black Mamba dancer, while the Swoosh, tongue logo and leather back panel are finished in white. A Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation crest replaces the traditional Kobe signature heel mold, with "Kobe" and "Gigi" emblazoned on the left and right shoes. The gold "2" on the side window represents Gigi's AAU uniform number. The insole design features a halo, angel wings, the nickname "Mambacita" and another "2" in a further nod to Gigi.
